Henry Mares Leg Backpack Strap

Hi there,
Wondering if anyone on here runs a Henry Mares Leg, Rossi Ranch Hand or similar off of their backpack?
There are some beautiful leg holsters available but they seem like they would be a bit cumbersome while hiking.

Simple and cheap is get a tactical shotgun holster with molle and strap it on your pack wherever you want. Or adapt one of the leg holsters to attach to your pack.
