Foothills Streams-First Cutty Session Of The Season
i spent the last few days in the sw corner of the province with the family. we ventured around and fished some of our favorite waters. all creeks and rivers were pristine and fished very well. in the mornings when the larger bugs were active the cuttys absolutely crushed the bigger foam and later on in the day we had them gently sip the small drys. the best of two really good things. it was awesome. thanks to the guys that may recognize their bugs, they don't look like they do in the pictures anymore. even good quality ties can only take so much abuse, they're now all eaten up. the pup put on a lot of miles up and down some smaller waters, real good experience for him. he kept a close watch on our net and had some good under cliff snooze sessions. the only disappointment of the trip, not latching onto that big old bully this morning that keep chasing our fish. he knew what he wanted, and it sure wasn't rabbit fur. next time, we know where you're at. enjoy.
Thanks for the pictures. Man lots of damaged mouths on those fish.(not buy you) They sure get hooked a lot. Haven't fished there in 2 years now. I will try hard to get up there.
That first shot caught my eye. I took two pictures of the same mountain in the dead of winter. My wife said take a picture for me so this is what i came back with
