Hey,
Retired guy from NS who will be in Cochrane next week looking for a few tips about fly fishing in the area for trout. Catch and release only and will not disclose any secret spots.
Thanks in advance.

Smile If the water's clear.

The Bow river is IMO the best trout stream in the country. Taking the Boy scouts on a canoe trip from Calgary to the dam at Caresland I caught and released 33 rainbow trout.

You'll love it. If there are grasshoppers, it will be a bucket list treat.

Welcome
