Went to Banff for the weekend to try and find a mountain lake rumoured to have some nice cutts.
Stiff uphill hike but trail in good condition.
Beautiful little lake with lots of snow still lingering around.
The cutthroats were cruising the shallows around the lake.
It took a little bit to find a fly that worked but the winner ended up being a hare's ear nymph in certain areas.
Mepps spinners were also a hit.
In the end, caught over 25 fish.
Didnt find any huge fish but had a great time pulling in some colourful cutts in post spawn colours. All catch and release.
