Looking for recommendations on mechanic calgary area
Have a 2008 ram 1500, that started to dump smoke from exhaust then stop? Not sure if I blew a head gasket or a valve, people say white smoke is head gasket blue is oil, honestly looks like smoke would say lighter in color. Anyway if anyone can recommend an honest mechanic in calgary send me a pm thanks

Oil that gets into the cylinder from intake instead of past the rings can make an engine smoke and it will be much closer to white than the classic blue. It is because most of the oil is not getting burnt. Common cause is a leaking intake gasket. If you poured a bit of oil down the throat of an auto engine while it was running the smoke will be white, not blue.
