Whats nice is that this year you guys made it almost all the way till christmas before the team cratered out on you.

Yes the boy's are in a funk, they are falling back into that place where they are finding a way to loose instead of finding a way to win, they claw back to tie a game then crap the bed, OH well it's not the end of the world, and the boy's in red to the south have caught fire since Peters was "Fired" I mean resigned

They are in a funk. You need a goalie who can make that big save a few times in a game. Smith really can’t do that right now. He looks so uncomfortable playing goal lately. I know Tipp likes to put a goalie back in for the next game after a bad one. Stop already. Not working is it

Oilers are the Last team to lose three in a row this year. Tippet can right the ship. Koskinen will probably run the net for awhile now. Would be good for Kos to go a few games in net get on a roll. Will give Smith a break and he can come back for a few later.
Smith let in a few bad ones but that don’t excuse the rest of the team for not covering defensively. Take away one of the odd man rushes and there was a few of them and you’d have a tie game and a point in the bank. Small details matter and they have been slack on that lately.

Didn't like him when he was with the Desert Dogs, didn't like him when he was a Flame, and like him even less now as an Oiler cause on top of all the diving he used to do, now I have to watch him let in soft goals. At least he cut out 95% of his flopping all over the place from a stiff breeze. I would get embarrassed FOR him when he did that. A big backflip and play the injured card when an opposing player would barely bump into him  C'mawn man!

Just watched the game now. Better but not great. Thinking Bear is gonna have a long video review session. Not his best performance. The Nuge line with Neal though looked pretty good but they find a way to bury it.
With Calgary and Arizona catching up and Vegas not letting up she’s gonna be drag race to the finish line after Christmas. Hope we get our engine started.
