Default need a truss designer , Edmonton area

Doing an interesting project , looking for a good truss engineer / designer to work with in the Edmonton area . Any advice , Thanks

Any place that makes trusses should have the skill set to design what you need. Last time I used Alberta Truss in Edmonton. They did all the engineering and design as part of the order process.

Truss suppliers usually do the design work and supply the engineering certificate.

As a joist manufacturer, we couldn’t sell without an engineer onboard, who certified the projects. I assume it’s the same for trusses.

Al Yucocco, last I talked to him he was at Trail Building Supplies in Edmonton, but it's been a few years. He was my go to guy when designing something different.

Agreed. I really can't see any manufacturer of Joists, Beams or Trusses operating without having a qualified Engineer on staff.
