Default Pheasant hunting in Montana, North & South Dakota, Idaho and Washington State

There is a ban in place now for unprocessed uninspected birds from the bordering states due to commercial Bird influenza. This means for all you people going south to hunt birds this fall you can not bring them back across the US/Canada border. This may change but one should check with the Canadian border agents before going down south or take a fry pan......puphood

Default What about importing live birds?

Will this affect our Pheasant festivals here in Alberta?

It should not affect live pheasants that come from the USA if they have a USDA federal vet inspection and from what I understand lots have crossed already.....
