Default C&R walleye near Calgary

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a body of water somewhere near Calgary and preferably between Calgary and Lethbridge to catch walleye. I have a photo assignment which requires a shot of just the scale pattern of a walleye so all I need is to catch one fish 17" plus. If anyone has any leads on what lake I should focus on that would be great, I'll be fishing Sunday morning on my way back to Lethbridge starting around 6:30am. Feel free to PM me!

Travers is doing well for walleye right now....we managed 12 in under 2 hrs on Wednesday, all over 20". Slender spoons and Sweedish pimples did the trick at sun up.

If all you need is a pic, Basspro might still have a couple in their fishtank at the store. Might save a bunch of time and gas money.

I wish it were that easy Fishtracker, it has to be a high quality photo. I can't shoot through glass or water otherwise I'll lose sharpness and detail! I think I'll be heading to Travers in the morning, if anyone sees a burgundy Ford Explorer with a roof rack on it come say hi!
