Read that his wounds weren't self inflicted either

It is also entirely possible he was one of the initial victims as well. Not enough info at this time.

I would think it would be easier to evade the police if there was just one of you on the run...

Man...if you can't trust your murder buddy who can you trust...?

X2. Certainly better than watching them get caught and released.

The joke is Native groups are already calling on police and gov to deal with social issues and drugs and take direction from the chiefs and councils. They also call for more reconciliation and funding. How about they start solving their own social problems and quit blaming everyone else. You would think they could give the payolla narrative a break till the families of the victims can have time to grieve.

My condolences to all that were hurt or lost family because these skells have no caring for anyone else.

Boys and Girls...

First of all, condolences to all the families and relatives...

Bad things happened here...we all know that....

But until the police (Regina PS/RCMP), which I will say have done an outstanding job so far trying get evidence /tips/and to find them these no minds...I will refrain further comments until they are confirmed.

MSN/Government are already screwing up/spinning the narrative as we speak...very sad...

And my concluding comment on this...may these two door knobs slowly rot in hell...

Comments on the police response seem to indicate they acted quickly and appropriately, compared to the Nova Scotia cluster.

Maybe, maybe not.

RCMP did lay murder charges on both of the brothers earlier in the day though. They must have had evidence you would think.

"Damien Sanderson has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder, one count of attempted murder, and one count of breaking and entering into a home. Myles Sanderson has been charged with one count first-degree murder, one count of attempted murder, and breaking into a home as well. Further charges are expected as the investigation progresses."

I disagree ..... here's my thoughts .... Why would have he been implicated in the initial attacks? clearly the police and witnesses have enough evidence to have implicated him and his involvement. He has charged this AM and that could not happen without substantial and corroborated evidence.

A couple scenarios come to mind...

There a good chance one of the victims fought back and wounded him

or

Maybe his brother was so high and so paranoid on drugs he turned on him

either way - 1 down and one to go

At this point it's all speculation - and nothing more

Hard to understand why anyone would want to carve out someone else for no reason. I. Any help wonder what the motive(s) maybe be. Obviously drug and alcohol induced, but I wonder if it wasn’t gang related?

One of the victims was a 77 year old man, a couple ladies in their late 40's and the other in her 50's.

Seems unlikely it's gang related.

Very tragic for the victims and their families and cowardly by the perpetrators.

Oh wow. I haven’t followed the story that closely. The fact they went after elders and random people makes this all the more terrible.

The victim’s families must be crestfallen and soon to be profoundly angered.

I hope those two are found quickly and “dealt” with extreme swiftness.

So gang members have to be a certain age? Weird.. HA must be doing it wrong..

I can almost Guarantee this is gang related, someone didn't pay someone for drugs and well, the rest is history. It's funny (not really), that you think they wouldn't go after family members (elderly) as retribution or whatever.

We will never get the real story, and that's really unfortunate, as it would open people's eyes to the mess we have helped "create".

My condolences to everyone involved and to all families.

Exactly what mess have I helped "create"? Maybe some personal accountability would go a long ways. Whoever these victims were, it's unfortunate they had to die they way they did, most likely in great pain, confusion and scared. When the police catch the last guy, hopefully the Saga ends there and then.

I personally hope they capture him alive. you learn nothing from the dead man.
Every time they have a mass shooter in the US they kill him. I don’t know what they are learning.

That’s not a very accurate statement and I’d advise some quick research… Dylan roof, Nicholas Cruz, James Holmes All very high profile mass shooters all captured alive. Never mind guys like Stephen paddock or Adam Lanza that off themselves either before or when confronted by police. To say or imply every time they kill a mass shooter in the US is false.

"Significant criminal record" is all you need to know. I don't care who you are or what your background is, if you have that attached to you it's time to throw away the key. If you've already proved your first 2 chances weren't enough, why give another? That's more blood on the hands of the justice system.

Yup, I would be very interested to know WHY as well.

Reports indicate that some people were targeted while others were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Why were they targeted and hunted in different locations? It seems more systematic than a killing frenzy to me.

I REALLY don't care why they did it, what their "motivation" was or their sad history of trying tho get their miserable lives together. There is nothing to learn from these Buttholes, dead is much better.

That’s pretty narrow minded. What if the people that he targeted were deserving of being killed, like you think about him, and he was taking out the garbage?

Would your opinion change if his targets were part of a pedophilia ring that were abusing his nephews and nieces and he found out about it? I don’t think that he’s the type to just report it to the Police.

Exactly! Have yet to hear from Mendicino. Is he not the Public Safety Minister? I guarantee if this was firearms related you would have heard from him in an instant. Our justice system is a joke in this country and they put more effort into treating criminals like victims and victims like criminals.

Yes the extensive criminal record is all that we need to know, once again attacking legal firearms owners, while refusing to deal with criminals has cost lives. Hopefully the last suspect is not taken alive, or he will likely reoffend when he gets out of prison.
