Last I looked there was one super charger in Alberta. Just looked again there are currently five. One in Edmonton, none in Calgary. Slowly improving but not super encouraging on that front...

Edmonton, Canmore, Ft. MacLeod, Red Deer, Rocky View.

Let's just say in 20 years truckers will be out of business. We'll be glorified swampers riding shotgun in self-driving electric trucks.

Yep...they charge 6-8x faster than current liquid electrolyte batteries.

In 20 years, haul trucks and maybe some of the highway routes at best. P&D driving in the city probably not yet, and not a chance off-hwy (i.e. logging, oilfield hauling). That being said the way things are currently going we may not need logging trucks or oilfield trucks in 20 yrs, we'll all be receiving a "living wage" so who needs to work.

I have a feeling the production model will differ significantly. Space-X alloy body and unbreakable glass would drive the price up unrealistically. The crazy design et al was just Elon being Elon. My friend who was planning on buying on just texted me with a WTH.

I have a feeling your friend is going to be disappointed. I have a feeling budget and schedule restrictions forced a simple body, and this is it.

Elon said it would be completely different than anything anyone has seen/built. He wasn't wrong.

Unfortunately, his price point is gonna sell ALOT, unless ford undercuts him.

But this "truck" will be bought by the silicon valley geeks that don't really understand what a truck is for, and will drive it to their comic cons.
