Exactly what a buddy gets in his if you’re talking 13.5L/100km.
My Power Wagon with the 5.7L and 5 speed auto gets 23L/100km at 110 km/hr on the highway.

12-13 litres per 100 Kim’s @ 118 kms per hour. I also pull a 26.5 ft 5th trailer with a 17 ft boat behind it. Handles it fine, Just bought mine in June .so far I'm impressed.

Dodge itself is reporting 11.2 hwy / 16.2 city
Usually that means average people are going to see something significantly worse.
Manufacturers are notorious for testing and posting mileage in perfect conditions to achieve "improved performance".
That's spectacular mileage for a full size truck with a real V8.

13.5 mpg is closer to 17.4 ltrs/100 kms - which is far closer to what I'd expect to see at 110 kms/hr (or average driving) in a truck

My brothers 2015 5.7 with the 6 speed averaged 15/100 from Edmonton to Southern Alberta, 4 days of Antelope hunting and pretty heavily loaded with gear and 3 guys. Straight highway running on cruise at 105, with not much cargo it seems to run about 12-13/100 when I was with him. The rental I had for 2 weeks last year with the 8 speed did about 14/100 around town, which I thought was excellent for a large truck in the city. I did set it so it would not shift above 5th around town.

I seriously looked at buying a Dodge. EPA ratings listed 15/21 in US gallons for the 5.7 liter motor and 17/25 in US gallons for the 3.6 liter 6 cyl.
That's 15 city and 21 highway - 17 city and 25 highway, in US gallons
Which works out to 15.5/11 per 100k and 14/9.5 L per 100k
Or 18/25 imperial and 20/30 imperial
That's no where near what My BIL truck gets or what my hunting buddy gets with their 1500s
Both get around 21/17 L per 100k with the V8 which works out to 13.5/16.5 MPG imperial
I got 17.5/15 L per 100k with my Titan so decided to stick with them.

Couple weeks ago I drove it from grande prairie back to the pass and got 13.5 mile per gallon. Lots of snow on the highway up until red deer. Its a 2007, 2500 HD with 158,000 kms on it.

this is a loaded question really as it all depends on the gear ratio you get with your truck and your driving habits.
i have 3:93 gears in my 2014 sport and baby the truck when it comes to acceleration and slowing down for the most part.
right now city driving im at 15-15.5l/100
summer that drops to 14-14.5/100km
highway at 120km/hr im at 12-13l/100
highway at 105km/hr (BC driving) im at 10 -11.5l/100

3/4 tons with the hemi are significantly worse than the 1/2 ton hemis as they don't shut down cylinders
I have a 3/4 and it will do 15-16 L/100km on the highway.

I have a 2018 5.7 4x4 with 8 speed. I average about 13.5-15 and that's city/highway mix. If it's pure Highway, I can get 12.5, possibly lower if I watch the fuel saver gauge.
Towing a trailer it will run up to 17 to 20 depending on hills, wind, etc... that's expected though. The sticker on the truck may tell you different but I don't think they calculate real road conditions. Fuel milage can go out the window really quick if you are not paying attention to it.

Thanks guys . I have a 08 gmc that is starting to show it's age and am looking. Sounds like the dodge is doing better than my gmc at the pumps. I get about 17l per 100 average with the 5.3

I get 11-13 on my 2017. My 2013 5.7L power wagon averaged about 23. You could watch the gas gauge go down if you were passing someone. Yuck, glad I don't own that sucker anymore.

do you mean 14 liters per hundred km or 14 km per 1 liter/
14L per 100km is 16.8 mpg according to online gas mileage calculator
16L per 100 km is 14mpg
and 11.7L per 100 km is 20 mpg
14 km per liter would equal close to 33 mpg

Depends what gallon you use. You are probably quoting US and he is UK.

In Canada we used to use Imperial measure you can thank Trudeau sr. for the confusion
https://www.calculateme.com/gas-mile...to-british-mpg
Fuel Economy
14 kms/100 lt.
From
To imp. gallon
14 Liters per 100 km =
20.18 British MPG
About
Most of the world measures fuel economy in liters per 100 kilometers. However, the UK still uses miles per gallon. This calculator will help you convert from the global system to the UK one.
Note: This conversion will NOT work for the the United States.

Most online convertion calculators will do US, Imperial, or metric in either direction.
I like the one that comes up when I do a Liters per 100km to MPG imperial search.
It does Km per liter as well.
And it comes up as a functional calculator, not a link.

I get about 14L/100km in the summer on highway cruising at 125
City in the summer I bet around 17L/100km in the summer and 18 in the winter.
I also have a level and 35.5x12 10 ply tires.

I rent a lot of trucks thru work and do a regular highway runs, using cruise most of the time. Ran all the latest from the big 3, even a Tundra once in a while. They are all pretty close driven when driven in the same manor and of course drop like a rock once you idle or put yer foot into it. Chevy's generally get slightly better mileage but I've also done really well with a Hemi too. Tudra was the worst but it was during winter.
I actually prefer the Dodge for my trips.

That seems to be the norm. And that's pretty good for a full sized 1/2 ton 4x4
It's part of the reason I looked at them so closely. They seem to last pretty good too.
But for me the Nissan had a slight edge mostly because I know them better.

When I was living in Alberta (4 years ago) the best I got was 9.6 per 100 km in my 2012 4x4 with the hemi. That was mostly on the hiway around Edmonton. Probably averaged around 11.5 driving in the city.
Now that I am on Vancouver Island with all the ups and downs I get about 13/100 on the hiways and 16.5 to 17 in the city.

I'm getting a solid 14.8l/100km in the city with a 1500 Hemi 2019 rebel just rolled past the 5000km mark ,highway i'm expecting somewhere around 13l/100km . Definitely very impresed so far , my last truck a tundra 5.7 with 35inch tires was getting 21 in the city and 17 on the highway .
