I had some installed by the dealer when I bought my quad so I don't know brand they are the hand warmers work good, the thumb warmers worked to good It was so hot I could feel it burning through my glove. I use handle bar gauntlets with the hand warmers I can go in -20 with thin gloves and still have warm hands.

There arethe heat Demons, (previously mentioned)we install a tonne of them. Great warranty, hardly ever need to use. There are also the Oxfords, they work well, also very little problems.
Let me know what you decide on, I might be able to get you a decent price.
As for installation, super easy, not complicated and very straight forward. Just have lots of zip ties on hand.

I have the heat demon hot grips on 3 quads and a set of kimpex one 1 and moose on another. The heat demon are the best bang for your buck. The kimpex have almost no grip. (Older style) the moose grips are very soft and after 1500km the grips have considerably less grip. The heat demon have been on for 3 seasons and no issue. Extremely easy to install. ( if you understand 12v dc ccts). As stated use the moose over the handle bar mitts and you will be golden. Good luck

I did heat demons on my last quad. Easy install, no issues at all.
Did the factory warmers on my wife's machine. Like it was mentioned before, plug and play.
For my new machine, I just pre wired the connectors on the new set of heat demons so it was 'factory' install. Even added another connector for future use.

I installed the factory ones on my polaris, two heat settings and they work great, very simple plug and play and drill two holes for the switches.

When cruising at say 30-60 km windchill can be down right a pain so in addition to heavy gloves these babies will still cook your hands and thumb....too much heat is better then not enough....
