Default Liberal 'Mandatory Buyback' in P.E.I.

Any word on how the confiscations are going in P.E.I.? It was supposed to be a testing ground for the program in December, then moved to January, but I haven't heard if it's even started yet. I understand that PEI only has ~6 thousand licenced firearm owners (and no risk of any Islander dropping sugar-daddy Ottawa liberals as their chosen masters).

Anyone heard how the program's doing there?

They haven’t even offered to purchase the firearms yet. I can’t see them trying to confiscate before they insult us with a nonsense offer first.

If they backed off of starting in PEI, a tiny liberal province, they are probably realizing that this whole confiscation thing likely won't be very successful. It failed miserably in New Zealand, with only 30% compliance, and I don't see it being any more successful here

It’s not supposed to be successful. It is two things:

a pseudo legal weapon to use against white male western Canadians who don’t vote liberal. Can’t find any of those on pathetic island, so why pizz off the welfare newfies who do vote liberal.

A dog whistle for far left votes in the lower wasteland, onterrible and kbekistan.

Do not underestimate these evil sob’s. There is no way that narcissistic clown and his minions will give this up. The progressives have one goal and one goal only and that is to destroy what is left of this country.

Sadly they will never see as this the embarrassment that it is.

Shockingly little coverage on the main stream media....

I'm too young to be this jaded.

Obviously their feeble attempt has fallen flat on it's ass. They don't know how to do it.
Perhaps they could get it going by "phasing it in". They could start by confiscating all the 22 guages.

And the assault rifles made for killing as many firetrucks as possible, should be confiscated from the royal gestapo.

It doesn't matter if it was cancelled. The important part - the virtue signally - was successful ! And that's what matters to JT.

That would ruin their family fun days at the range.
