It's not as complicated as some would make it out to be, after all , it is a gunsmithing process not witchcraft.

Not looking for a new barrel, I’d rather have the barrel drilled out and rifled.
Just wondering my options
What brand model rifle ? RJ

I would just buy a new rifle in the new cal. and keep the CM or sell it.This would be cheaper than paying a gunsmith to swap barrels, or re bore it, and you would have 2 guns . or a much cheaper solution to getting the new cal.

Sell it and buy what you want. You'll save a ton of money and have something worth more in the end.
