Default Tobacco river montana

Anyone ever fish this around eureka and koocanusa? What's all in there and is it any good?

We found some cutthroats taking drys in late August...both nearer to where it enters Koocanusa and further upstream between Eureka and Whitefish. In the fall the kokanee run and as the locals say...it's snaggin season...

Ya I've seen the salmon running. What about earlier in the season. Spring and early summer. I heard the trout only come up to spon late summer or fall

Yeah, I go every year for "snagging" season...kinda fun... Albeit, I feel guilty afterwards
