Default Re-coating optical glass

Anyone know if this can be done or if it’s even worth it? I have an older scope and set of binos that need this. They both work great but into the sun can be blinding. Overcast days are no problem though.

Thanks

I suspect it to be far too expensive. Now if you had a vacuum pump, high voltage supply, and knowledge of the appropriate metals, you could sputter custom coatings
