Default Ever catch something already dead in your snare?

While I am new to the snaring world this was a first and I'm sure there will be plenty of firsts along the way. I had one set along a fence line that has been knocked over 3 times. As I approached today I could see something wasn't right, and could see an object beyond the fence.

Awhile ago I set some baits, and thought to myself, will these loose bones possibly ever hinder and prevent a catch on a coyote by knocking down a snare?

Then I thought, man I think to much.

Found this today, had baited with some elk bones and this coyote had carried this just right and managed to catch the loop. Probably same one that has been knocking it off.

Too funny.
