Default Float tube for backpacking

Hey guys I'm looking for a float tube for backpacking into alpine lakes. I know that the outcast trinity is the perfect float tube, but it is expensive. Is there any other float tubes you guys would reccomend?
Thanks for your time,
Backyardhunter3006

I've got a Creek Company ODC 420 Ultralight 5 or 6 years ago. I've been happy with it. At 10 lbs, it's a bit heavier than the Trinity but more reasonably priced. Creek Company sells a light weight set of fins as well.

I don't know who is selling them now. You do see the odd used one on Kijiji.

This one states it's under 4 pounds... never used it personally, so can't comment on it, but there is a decent video review on Youtube. MSRP is a little less than the Outcast. I'd bet it's not as durable, so you'd have to ask if the extra few pounds is worth it.

Thanks for the info! That looks like a good float tube. I might have to make an order through them.

This is the one I have. Happy with it so far, only complaint is, the backrest is pretty flimsy.
