Skidoo or quad for cold lake?!

Anyone want to give some advice on which vehicle to take to cold lake next weekend? I took my quad last year but it was a struggle (although I've bought a different toboggan to pull this year). We dropped the front end of our truck into a crack there a few years back and swore off taking that chance again!! Thx in advance.
