Default What's your favorite line color?

I've never really given much thought to it, but do you have a favorite color for your flyline? I think my favorite color for a dry line is peach, I find it easiest to see under a variety of light color. How about you? What color to you prefer to rig your rod up with?

Seems to me you have given much thought to it. Don't know why.

It's because I'm daydreaming about warmer weather, and working on putting together a new rod. I'm looking for opinions, and I appreciate hearing about other experienced angler's thoughts, that's why.

I've always used a green only because green is my favourite colour. Waiting for a sale to come I want new float line!

Good question... 🤔🤔 personally I like how indicator lines have that pink tip as a reference. But other than that I just look at the taper, and the colour kinda just goes with it. But if I were to choose I would say the pale blue (like OPST heads have) are my first choice. But that's also because I like blue
The colours for lines I don't like are chartreuse and bright green. I also had a bright orange line for a long time, which eventually frayed. The bright colours seem to scare spooky fish even with long leaders. I bet you the airflo clear line would be a good solution to that.

I've always liked peach or yellow in a floating line for visibility, and then blue in a sinking line.

Don't like the clear lines and clear tip lines much because I can't see the damn things!

Kinda depends on what you are doing with the line.
Floaters for typical length stream casting I use a light colour. Cortland 444's mostly
Floaters for long leader chironomid presentation where the only thing that matters is distance, I don't care.
For sinking lines dark colours.

For floating line I have used white, green and peach. Can't say I have a favorite. However, for sinking line I always use grey, no matter what. Just seems to work great.
