Default Ordered my new boat

Just placed my order for a new 2018 Princecraft 200 WS through Barry Jays. If they can deliver the new Merc 225 V6 I will be running it, otherwise I will go with the 250 Verado. Adding a Pro Kicker, 112V Ulterra, Helix 10 SI Mega flush mounted at the console and another Helix 10 at the bow. Looking forward to the May delivery date!

Congratulations on your purchase. That’s a nice looking rig and nicely rigged setup!

Maybe I’ll see you out on the water with my new rig as well?!

Any boat that gets you safely out on the water and back is a good boat. I’ve owned everything from a 12’ foot fibreglass punt with an old Evinrude 2 hp to a 20’ foot with a 250 hp. Each boat has its perks and purpose.

Oh yeah. Have iPilot Link on my current boat and wouldn’t be without it. This one will be networked with both Helix units.

Specs have it listed at 28 lbs heavier than my Impact 1850 XS, 1.5 feet longer, but it can have a 250 on the back vs the 150 on my Impact. I’m thinking it should fly!

I have a Yamaha 150 2 stroke on my 17' Sylvan. It will make ya smile when you say lets go girl. I know if you get the engine you want you will also smile big time. Trim that girl right and she will fly. Almost to the point of only thing left in the water is the prop. Yee fricken ha. ENJOY and be safe

That’s the first time I’ve heard of a 20 foot boat called “little” here in the Prairies!

Great looking package - it should fly on the water with a 225 or 250 pushing it along.

Enjoy it !!!

Congrats on the new boat.

2 seconds to plane and about 55 mph top speed according to this review.

Light weight and a 13 degree deadrise definitely make for a quick boat!

I think so too. We will see how it handles rougher water with that deadrise. My Impact touches 51 mph in ideal conditions with a SS prop. I would be surprised if this one doesn’t go over 55 with a SS prop.

Default barry jay

barry Jay in Edmonton has the worst service in all my years of owning boats. I bought my new boat from them and wish I would of never bought a boat from them. If your looking at buying a new boat look else were bass pro has awesome service.

That’s the complete opposite of my experience. I bought my Lund from them 3 years ago and their service has been great. They knew me by name when I walked in for oil change supplies 6 months later. It’s too bad that your experience hasn’t been the same as mine.

Beautiful!!! That will help pass the time for a few summers! Enjoy it and be safe out there, too many knuckle heads that don’t know what they’re doing on the water... be sure to give a report once you take ownership and of course please post a few pictures of her in action!
