Default Open water Pigeon?

Does anyone know if there is any ice at shore that might hinder launching a boat? Wouldn’t mind doing some mapping I put off.
Thanks for any info.

Sounds good, thanks! The Red Deer River was my backup plan.

Ah, Mulhurst 400 feet of ice starting at shore. Get your eyes checked...

Managed to get on the the Prov Park though but had to ice break through a thin layer 500 feet long. At least I got out. Lots mapped in the end and half a dozen wallies landed on the fly rod back at the Prov Park drop off. That lake is going to freeze over very quickly from here on.

I live at sandholm beach. Was no ice that morning. Couple of days can make all the difference this time of year No wind and negative temperatures overnight can set ice up quickly

The green turned to brown now and a lot is sinking within the top two FOW. Totally clear at shore so the brown stuff was at least 400 yards out and further. It wasn't too bad so I'm sure that a lot has already decomposed or sunk.
