Default Freighter Canoe Travel Cover

Spoke to a fella at Maligne lake who had a great travel cover for his Hudson Bay canoe. Said he’s bought 3 from a company in Edmonton but I can’t for the life of me remember the name.

Would be nice to go somewhere that already has the plan/experience. If anyone has any suggestions I’d be interested.

Thanks!

This place.
Not sure if there still around but they built a nice tarp. Not so much a custom fit but super well built generic with top quality canvas at a good price.

Thought I’d re up this. Saw a few more nice covers at maligne but nobody could remember where or a company. Closest I got was “a Sikh guy in edm”. Price range I’ve heard is 700-1000 which is about 1/3 what I’ve been quoted from the places I’ve called so far.
Anyway thanks for the help. I’ll give the guy above a call tomorrow.

I had my freighter cover made at Wayne's Upholstery in Edmonton. They were closing up shop the last time that I was there over a year ago. The material used is Dupont Top Gun, and the cover is attached to the canoe by a heavy webbing sewn into the cover and cinched around the boat with a ratchet. Do you recall who you were talking to at Maligne? I may know them and could ask them where it was made.
