Default Moose down.

Dropped my bull moose on Tuesday am out in WMU 230. My son was with me and I used my late father’s Ruger M77 and my late Grandfather’s Gerber Magnum Hunter knife to gut it. Let the freezer filling begin!

Perfect. Now you just need to make a nice bed of coals in front of the bobcat.

Nice moose.
like the way you loaded it. Did this with dads but no quad or winch.
We just jack knifed the trailer and used my truck with a chain over the front of the trailer, worked like a charm.
cheers.

I like the way that you used the ATV winch to load it into the trailer.

That is terrific! Congratulations on a great moose, and making new memories with those treasured heirlooms. What a great way to honor your dad's memory.

It works well. Used the quad to skid the moose out of the bush to the truck and trailer.
