Do you have any examples? I might be understanding this wrong, when packing out can you leave proof of sex on 1/4, take quarters, all meat, tenderloins and separated head from the carcass, i was under the impression that you could...

Good point! I guess leaving the head attached to a quarter still doesn’t do much does it as it’s detached from the quarter with evidence?

^ Again, I do not understand what the issue is. How often do you see a buck that is over a year old (because this is the second time in his life he would potentially be hunted by licensed hunters) that has antlers shorter than 4 inches? An actual so called “button buck” can probably be packed out gutted, feet removed, in one piece, including the head if someone thinks it could be an issue. Ideally, tail is all a guy should be needing for that one, but the regs disagree…
