Default Child and two men fell through the ice

Be safe when on the ice at this time of year, even walking across a creek or river can be deadly, let alone venturing out onto a lake.

Oh man, already there are deaths. Crazy to think the ice is safe in early Nov. Why are you on it so early and in deep enough waters to drown is my question.

Condolences.

Saw 2 people ice fishing on one side of Butchers Lake while on the other side 2 people were fishing in open water, the last I saw of them they were off the ice. I consider them very lucky by afternoon the lake was 75% open water. This was November 3, 2023.

The adults were apparently rescuing the kids that were playing around on the ice.
