Default Have your say on daylight savings time

Daylight saving time engagement
Share your thoughts on the future of time change in Alberta.

Every year, Albertans "spring forward" an hour in March to observe daylight saving time and then "fall back" an hour in November to revert to Standard Time.

While we've observed daylight saving time for 50 years, the conversation about whether or not we should – and what this practice means – has been going on even longer.

We want to hear your thoughts about ending the practice of changing our clocks twice a year.

I find it to be pointless in modern times
