Does not look right, floorplate is all wrong compared to any Husqvarna I have seen. What are the measurements between the action (receiver) screws?

Default Stock

I have not seen a husky stock, that looked like that. Possibly a BSA Majestic.

Agreed. In which case there will be a collector somewhere who wants it.

Savage 1920. The original ultra light bolt action compact mountain rifle. Invented before its time.

This is a Savage model 1920. Notice the notch in the front of the stock as well as the distinctive checkering. The old Husqvarna 8000 Typically came with a plastic tip, if original.

My good man...I think you nailed it! I found upstairs the book you used for the pic,Bolt action Rifles by Frank de Haas.( revised edition) I have the bottom metal as well as mag, grip cap, stock screws (4 of em) mag follower and spring,(missing buttplate). Checked the tang pic to the stock, both are sloped downward. Mag length checks at 2.700,trigger guard has slight downward angle. 3 stock bolts with a stock screw to fasten rear of trigger guard.Even in the pic to the grip cap,it looks the same.

This stock is actually in good shape for year. No oil soak,no cracks , no really deep gouges, checkering is actually in not bad shape.,I do remember it having a raised cheek piece on it some one added. But I carefully took it off and all that was left was 2 small screw holes on top of the stock.

Thanks for the guidance in the right direction.. Now I can mark the bag of parts.
