I watched it on Netflix not long ago. I'm not a sports guy but I found it very intriguing and never really thought about the role/politics of enforcers on the ice. Very interesting watch. Highly recommended, even if you're not a hockey fan!

Played in a few of Kelly Chase's Fantasy Camp alumni tournaments in both Saskatoon and Nashville over the years. He gave us a private screening of this a couple of years ago before it hit the Toronto film festival. Well done. Maybe a bit long.

I was looking forward to watching it. Was planning on watching it tonight but found out my wife's cousin passed away from blood cancer. Sent him a message earlier to say Happy Birthday. Rough.

That’s awesome. At the end of the documentary when the acoustic guitar is playing the show out and the host is asking them “would you do it all over again?” Kelly looks up with tears in his eyes and says “With a little more fire..”
I well up every time and get goose bumps when I see that scene.

I miss playing the game and I very much miss the old NHL.

Thanks. I never met him, but we spoke on the phone. He turned 20 yesterday and passed away a few hours later.

Kelly is an excellent guy with a huge heart (and a damn solid handshake His tournaments and other ventures raise thousands for local charities.

Not surprising. The guys that showed the most emotion on the ice have the biggest hearts for the most part...

This documentary drives the point home when you consider why there are enforcers in the game and why they play the role they do. Less fighting in the game has resulted in more cheap shots and more concussions and injuries to players.

I used to think "Fighting is just a part of the game".

Now I know "Fighting is a necessary part of the game".

Exactly. That is why I do not like the direction the NHL is headed.

When enforcer John Scott was voted on the 2016 All Star team as a joke, that was also the playing out or swan song for the leagues enforcers. McGrattan, Orr and Gadzic no longer had jobs and the NHL wasnheading in a different direction.
I’m glad Scott played in that All Star game even if the voting fans first voted him in as a joke, as it was quite symbolic that it was the end of an era...
