Default Water/ ice conditions on lakes south of caroline

Hello, was wondering if anyone has been out to any of the lakes south of Caroline. I'm planning on heading out this weekend but worried that they may be frozen already. Any info would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

I drove past Winchell Lake (just south of Water Valley) 2 days ago, and 75% of the lake was covered with thin ice and a layer of snow.

My point being, if that was the conditions there, I would bet that anything closer to Caroline would be worse....

Good luck

Should be about time to ice fish peppers. Maybe a few more cold nights but it’ll be close.
