Default November 5th and 6th WT's

Here are a few pics of the deer we got on November 5th and 6th. Mine is the first buck a 4x5 and my second biggest to date. Its not a moster but I was very happy to get him. My Bro Inlaws is the second buck. Its a 6X6. It was taken the next night about 300 yards from where I got my buck. I think I rattled the 6x6 in the night before. We never did get a good look at the head gear but the 6X6 was shot on the same hill we rattled the buck in the previous night. I had never rattled in a buck before but it sure was exciting!!! He winded us and took off through the thick stuff. He must have snorrted about 10 times on his way out. Not the low quite snort but that loud sneeze they do when alerted. It was pretty cool to see. We could still hear him snorting over 300 yards through the bush. My Bro-Inlaw nailed him the next night in the same spot while the buck was chasing a doe.
The rut seemed a bit early for this year and two of the bucks we got were chasing does. When I got my 4X5 I was still hunting at first light and could hear two other bucks fighting through the hardwoods. It was hard to tell but I figured they were a couple hundred yards away. They were really going at it though. I was gunting a little on the tube and this guys crept in behind me. I turned and shot him through the lungs. He went about 40 yards. I figure he was coming in to check out the other two bucks that were scraping.
Congrats to everyone on another great season!

PS. The 6X6 is at the taxidermist. My Bro-Inlaw was super stoked! We rough scored him at 163 gross.................Although we are not experts in the scoring dept!!! ...........lol It will be intresting to see how close we were when we get him back. It was an awsome deer and a very memorable hunt no matter what the score is!!!

Cheers,
