Any recommendations on a reasonably priced trigger release for hunting purposes. ( Will be used on a D-loop )

Define reasonable, I think I own one (1) that's under a hundred bucks Don't tell the wife!

Tru-ball Short N Sweet #1, Scott L'il Goose or Mongoose (okay so I own 3 that are under a $100 ) and 4 that are over a hundred. SSSHHHHH!!!

Thumbs up .44 caliber

the .44 caliber reliase is about 50 bucks and in my opinion is just as good as any 100 plus doller reliaes i know they carry them at sherwood park archery lanes they are a duel caliper very well biult and straight shooting .

My boyfriend shoots a Short N' Sweet, he really likes it. Says it feels a lot like a rifle trigger.

Yep it does. The S2 is the one with the swept back trigger. Get it with a buckle strap and you have a wicked release!
