Default Used Casings

When I'm done shooting and collect the brass would anyone use it for reloading. It would be .308.

As long as it's not military you should keep it till you have 50 and sell it or trade it or give it away. Or keep it until you start reloading.

There is nothing wrong with military brass and in fact it is superior for some useage, like loading cast lead boolits.

Personally I do not reload Berdan primed as I do not have the tooling and primers are not readily available.
There is lots of boxer primed good military brass that has crimped primers, but that is also becoming much more common in civilian ammo.
I use the RCBS primer pocket swaging tool in a standard reloading press. It is a simple and easy task that can be performed in less time than inspecting to see if it is needed, so I just swage all my 223R, 5.56N and 308W & 7.62N. (It is a one time task performed as part of regular first use case prep, visual inspection, de-priming, tumble clean, pocket swaging feel, flash hole de-burr, sort by head-stamp).

The only cartridge cases I do not save fpr reuse is steel case.
Berdan primed is usable for building dummy rounds, or practicing neck turning, annealing and other procedures.

Good Luck, YMMV.

Yep as long as its not steel or berdan it can and will be reloaded by someone. I use 90% military brass in my 308.

As long as you realize you have to remove the primer crimp before repriming. Not a big deal.

By military meant steel case, non reloadable. I should have been more clear.
