Default Spot Hogg Fast Eddie XL

Looking into buying a Spot Hogg Fast Eddie XL 2 pin (.19) sight.

Any of you guys using this setup ? pros/cons ?
I see a lot for sale from early 1016 wonder why they are being sold.

Posted a question to Spot Hogg about weight in lbs and ounces of the sight,
am waiting on a reply.

Another question.. 1 or 2 pin ?
I'm guessing that the advantage to having 2 pins over 1 is to NOT have to
unlock the course wheel adjustment (for longer ranges) when shooting from 20 to 30 yards. Then when you want to shoot say 35 to 50 yards (target) you can unlock the wheel and dial the sight in.

My best guess anyway.

Wish I could see one set up on a bow, they have what they call a "scope" or
clarifier (optional) to magnafy the "sight tape" 2x 4x 6x.
That might be something I want (I'm over 50) or something I simply don't need, yet.

Anyway, if any of you guys have experience with this sight any an all input would be helpful. Thank you.

I just bought one and just started to play with it. So far so good. Can use any of the Spot Hogg single, double or multi pin housings on it (if you buy the appropriate bracket). The ATA show there will be a nice little upgrade released to the Fast Eddy. I would get the XL version because the dove tail is a nice feature.

Do you have a 1 or 2 pin ?
I have 3 pins on my old sight 20, 25 and 30 yards.
I'm gonna wait till after the ATA show to check out the upgrades.

I have the 2 pin scope on it for now.

Got a reply back on the weight from Tina at Spot Hogg 13.2 ounces for the
Fast Eddie XL.
13.2 sound about right to you LC ?

Asked if the updates for the 2017 model would enable the use of 3 or
more pins. (I currently use 3 for hunting 20, 25 and 30 yards).
Don't know if I'll get an answer on the question till after the ATA show though.

Just looked at the website last night and it still showed it only with one or two pins. Looked again just now, and the website has been updated. Fast Eddie XL now comes with 1,2,3,5, or 7 pins. It says coming soon on the 7 pin though.

Thanks Bowhunter9841, I was hoping multpins would be an option.
Only thing to consider now will be the price over the 2016 2 pin models.
If it's a lot I'm thinking I could go along with a 2 pin set at 20 and 30 yards
but would really like to stay with 5 yard increments.

Here's a link to a website I stumbled across the other night. Gives the 2016 pricing, but it will get you a rough idea. Not sure if they'll ship to Canada though??

This was always an option, just need a multi-pin housing and the correct bracket and voila!

There is a NEW multi-pin housing available now that has the MRT sight rings, that's what isn't available quite yet in a 7-pin.

Now, why doesn't spot Hogg have any Canadian dealers? I have seen the low end stuff at wholesale sports, but none of the sliders.
