Nicknamed "Nightmare", and for good reason. Not just the size of his rack.

Why are you shooting the Invasion? Do you like it better than the BTX?

I don't have a BT-X. The Invasion has always served me well.

Got my bull, I was planning on holding out for a big one but at 27 yards with my bow in hand I could not turn him down.

Good job! That one is going to taste real good; just the right size.

Ahh is that how you do it, yep that's him. My first ever moose, I've been putting the bulk of my hunting efforts for the last 3 years towards getting a moose, never would have even dreamed it would be as big as this one. Even more incredible is the buddy on my right that came along at a moments notice for an evening hunt, and the buddy that took the picture came out without hesitation as soon as we found a good blood trail and backed out. All three of us worked our butts off until 1am cutting and hiking. Been 2 days and I'm still dumbfounded by my good luck!

Bow zone, bullet hole through the right antler makes me think not everyone takes the bow zone as seriously as they should.

Yah I have heard of land owners shooting paddles to kick them out gardens...certainly do not agree with it.

Super Bull! Congrats. 248 is indeed a bow zone but don't forget also muzzle loader and shotgun zone after October 25 or so. We get moose coming over from Leduc side and that is rifle too.

Just after first light, called in six cows....and guess what was following them. 27-30 yard shot and he went another 50-60 before he went down.
