Make sure you empty the summer air out of the tyres as well, and pump the winter air in as it is different temperature and humidity....

but make sure you drain the winter air out or else the winter air will expand and your tyres will explode in the summer!....

changed the battery in my wifes 2002 windstar. knew i would have to reset radio but it also screwed up the remote door lock/starter. she was ****ed.
then van was stolen and found trashed in tomahawk sask. problem solved. ha ha.
only thing i salvaged from that van was the new battery.

Thats a good point. Sometimes when removing the batteries, if you have an aftermarket remote starter, it may have to be reprogrammed as well.

On an 05 duramax if you take both batteries out it trips security & you can't start the truck. You either use your key fob to lock and unlock your door. If you don't have a keyfob hook up primary battey first, then secondary battery. It should re set the security then. If you put in secondary battery first it will not work. A lot of dealerships don't know this. Found out the hard way.
