Default DIY Meat Smoker

I was wondering if anyone has some ideas on how to build a meat smoker. I am not great at metal work and don't have a welder. I am pretty good at wood working and have all the tools I would need.

Anyone ever build a small - medium hot smoker out of wood? Any ideas?

Check out the Bradley "do it yourself" smoker. Or an old fridge and a hot plate.

Just strip the innards of the fridge, plastic and tar in there. An old tall school locker works great, even has vent slots on top.

A gas range (stove) works well. Put an hotplate in the broiler....and the oven is smoke chamber. Racks are there for bacon and fish, easy to rig a hanging rack for sausage.
In fact I have one I'd give away, if you were close by.....
