Big knife outfitters, three rivers or silver sage take a look at them. Depends if you want a southern Alberta prairie hunt or not. Big tine hunts the same country Dawson creek looks like. Some on here will drag up big tines past, he kills nice deer. Mule deer in Alberta don’t have a bunch of age and trophy quality on them right now like they once did.

I'd be checking out Wes Schuett at Alberta Prairie Outfitters as well.

https://www.facebook.com/MuleyMulisha/

I would not say that Big Tine is 'the guy' in Alberta for deer. There are several great outfitters out there. Really depends if you want a 'combo' hunt for WT and MD or want to hunt one more than the other and what type of country/hunt you want. Something with a lot of sitting vs a lot of hiking and glassing, badlands vs bush country, farmland vs prairie hunting, etc, etc.

Thanks for the input guys, I know the terrain varies north and south, theres somthing about those big velvet bucks in a conola field and with permission on every bit of private property in his zones it shouldnt be hard to find a good deer.

If you're all about numbers and what a big buck, spend your money and go to mexico for them. Or buy the Arizona/Nevada/Utah governors tag.

Lol...your moral compass must be broken if this is your first choice in outfitters.

A little shady may be a bit of an understatement. I know of a guy he scammed out of a lot of money outfitting bears. Fire me a pm if you want a contact for a guy I know personally with a wicked track record of big velvet mulies.

He told you he has permission for "every bit of private property" in his zones?

You seem hellbent on booking a hunt with someone who at best has been referred to as having "a dubious reputation" and a simple Google search would seem to support why.

Kind of sounds like you'd do whatever steps necessary to get your buck.

Good luck.

So how do you feel about stretching or outright violating the regulations to get your deer?

Without clients that are willing to do this, shady outfitters wouldn't be able to sell hunts.

Just an opinion of mine, but all to often the outfitter is blamed for everything but the above quote really puts things in perspective .

You completely missed the point .
It takes two to tango, not just the outfitter .
There are more than just Outfitters and guides with bad ethics and morals .

Exactly
If your willing to break the law to get a big buck than just go to a ranch
No chance of getting your stuff confiscated when you get caught
Factor the possible fines and you can maybe shoot 2
