Default Southern Alberta fishing.

Looking for some advice please. We’re thinking of putting on a day of fishing for youths to teach them how to go about getting involved in the sport. This event will be sometime next summer. We’re looking for a location in southern Alberta. They will be doing all their fishing from shore, and hopefully we can come up with a place where they have a good chance of actually catching a fish. We’d also need to have a shelter of some kind in case the weather is less than ideal. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Chain Lakes for sure, easy shore fishing and good chances of catching some rainbow.

Also nice pic nic tables along the shore line and even a nice ice cream store

Default Elbow Lake

I would hike them into Elbow Lake. Better than average chance of catching fish from shore and goergous scenery. My kids love it up there. Kids don’t mind weather when there having fun. Pack in a couple tarps for shelters
