Default Dominos pizza

Dominos pizza is providing free pizza to Camp Cloud the protestors blocking Kinder Morgan pipeline these are the same people calling all oil patch workers Neanderthals and dirty pigs so maybe you may want to think about an other pizza place to order from if you support canadian oil and are a patch worker like myself I will post the link once I figure how to

I actually don’t mind dominos pizza. I prefer it over Pizza Hut, little Caesar’s and pizza 73.
With that being said I’ll choose a small family owned pizza joint over these major franchises any day.

Do you by chance have a link to back up your claim?

Bad move of them to take that side on such a controversial pressing issue however I can't see it hurting their business much. You either like or hate Dominos.

Panago is a better deal anyway, $25 for a large 4 topper at dominoes, same pie at panago $17

Is there something further, like a statement from Dominos stating they provided the pizza for free in support of the protesters? The image and text doesn't support it.

It looks like the lady's sister that posted the image managed to get herself arrested, good for her:

A place that makes such a lousy product as dominoes should maybe focus more on increasing their customer base rather than limiting it by who they support. Their main business is delivery,,,in cars,,,,that burn gas. Go to Sammy’s on bannister road

[QUOTE=tirebob;3754335]Apparently there may have been some misinformation...[/QUOTE

I just wanted to keep everyone updated on the situation that was happening regarding protesters in BC. The following is an explanation of where the pizzas came from and a statement by Dominos Pizza Canada.
In regards to the posts that have been going around on several FB pages about a donation and support given to protesters in BC here is the following information that has come to light and a statement by Domino’s Pizza Canada.
Thanks to the awesome detective work by our FOC in the Lower Mainland we were able to determine the pizzas were ordered by a legitimate customer who donated the pizzas herself to the protestors. There was also a picture floating around that showed the stickers ripped of the box which may have implied the pizzas were donated. In fact the customer removed the stickers herself to not have her phone number and name public.
We have contacted all of our franchisees in the greater Vancouver area and to the best of our knowledge, none of our stores have provided support to any groups who are opposed to the Trans Mountain Pipeline Project. Although we fully support everyone’s right to their opinion and free speech, we do not endorse the protest movement as we recognize the importance of the Canadian oil patch industry and the economic impact the industry has on all Canadian citizens. Most importantly, we offer our full support to the dedicated, hard-working men and women assigned to the “patch” who often times face very difficult conditions. Your efforts are truly appreciated.”

Just misinformation from the losers on the protest

Having served a posting with the Military Intelligence Branch back in the early 80's at NDHQ, when receiving Intel, the 1st question was always......what is the source? In other words, where did it come from, who sent it etc? Then, you made a decision on its validity.

It even looks like they are taking a roasting from the misinformed pipeline haters and they are not changing their tune which is awesome!

Simply put, people need to to actually look into stuff before going on a rant doing detriment to businesses and people unjustly.

I certainly hope the OP will take a lesson from this - check out everything on e-mail or facebook especially - most of it is fake stuff planted by someone with an agenda.

I did the same thing but they hung up on me when I asked if the free pie could be from Panago.

How does anyone know if Domino's is not lying to save face. If I was the owner that gave away free pizza to protestors, I would shut my mouth and deny everything.
