New Win and Rem brass is about 75 cents to a buck and half each for common CF rifles. So is Federal but I wouldn't take it for free so the make of the brass has a lot to do with how saleable it is fired. Once fired goes for about half new price, so look up new on Prophet River site and it will give you a good idea, unless it is premium brass like Norma, Lapua and the like or brass for something like the 460 Bee that costs 5-7 dollars a pop new and that sells for about 75%. Stuff like 223 brass is worh maybe a nickel each cause there is so much around.

With respect, & IMHO,
New un-fired is much more desirable than 1F or un-fired factory loaded.
I purchase 1F (and am a range chicken), but would only very seldom purchase 1F for 50% of new retail.
Proline (Calgary) sells primer-in & tumbled rifle brass, sorted by headstamp, in most common cartridges, for $.25 non magnum & .40 for magnum belted. (They normally have a good stock, in bags of 20.)
(I will seldom buy 1F belted, or pay more than .25 when I do, as too much has loose pockets.)
I prefer to purchase 1F with the primers in place or removed after polishing (easier to verify 1F).
I avoid 1F brass with cleaned pockets, and would NEVER purchase FL re-sized, or fully 'prepared' brass.

Good Luck, YMMV.

I have some federal .308 1F with primer's still in them. What would something like that be worth do you think?

I was considering getting into reloading so have been keeping all my brass for about a decade or so and pretty much all of it is still in the original packaging. It's not going to happen that I start reloading so I'm thinking about getting rid of the brass.
