With respect, & IMHO,
New un-fired is much more desirable than 1F
or un-fired factory loaded.
I purchase 1F (and am a range chicken), but would only very seldom purchase 1F for 50% of new retail.
Proline (Calgary) sells primer-in & tumbled rifle brass, sorted by headstamp, in most common cartridges, for $.25 non magnum & .40 for magnum belted. (They normally have a good stock, in bags of 20.)
(I will seldom buy 1F belted, or pay more than .25 when I do, as too much has loose pockets.)
I prefer to purchase 1F with the primers in place or removed after polishing (easier to verify 1F).
I avoid 1F brass with cleaned pockets, and would NEVER purchase FL re-sized, or fully 'prepared' brass.
Good Luck, YMMV.
