My main goal for 2010 is to get my wife a bighorn! And on top of that spend the better part of bighorn season in the mountains with my horses.

My son could only come hunting with me about 75% of the season this year, next year it's going to be 100% could't ask for a better hunting partner!!! I think we'll call that my resolution for this year. A big elk with my bow would be cool too.

MIne is to shed the spare tire I am hauling around. Got a memebership to the gym yesterday so I am commited now. This will help my hunts greatly as I will be able to cover more ground with less breaks.

I resolve to lose the lottery and gain weight. (I always fail to achieve my goals, so maybe reverse resolutionology will work out!)

I resolved, many years ago, to never make another NY resolution. I've kept it ever since. If I need to make a change, it'll happen then -- no need to wait until New Year's. Plan to get another nice meat buck, and maybe draw for moose...but nothing I can do about that.

I normally don't make New Years resolutions, cause I don't ever keep em'! 
But....this year, Ive promised myself...PROMISED!! That I'm going to build a couple of chairs. Maloof style chairs to be exact.
I've admired his work for years, and always said I'd like to build one of his rockers....but always find an excuse not to. Basically my excuses have been nothing more than PURE INTIMIDATION to this point.
SOOooo.... this year I'm going to start with one of his more 'simple' (yet similar) design's just to get a feel for the joinery, and basic design concept's.
Once that one is completed, and Ive gotten a feel for it....I'll move onto the final goal....
One of the more 'intimidating' things about the whole thing, is there are no plans available for either chair. Plans (very expensive) are available for other guys 'variations', but not the real deal.
So the majority of the design and planning have to be done from pictures, and other bits and pieces that I can gather from the internet.
No sweat....

Mine was to spend more time relaxing by doing more fishing and hunting. But I want to build a house on one of my empty lots in town here- so there probably goes my resolution. On the brighter note I use to be a 3 pack a day smoker. Did the resolution thing on December 31,1984 and have not had a smoke since. It can be done! (25 years)

Nice Ty but I have'nt killed five Ram's yet? I am getting back into the gym to slim down and put on some muscle. Not quite at my heaviest but close!
