Nice.

I have seen plenty of Lynx up here, but that is, indeed, a Bobcat. I think they are only common in a small part of Alberta (in the far south) and in the interior of BC out here in the West.

The well defined spots, white outline on the black tipped tail, shorter legs and shorter ear tuft is the giveaway.

Really Cool.

What area was this in?

In 2009 I was shown a picture of one taken in the southern part of the swan hills, very far out of traditional bobcat territory.

Nice cat.

Since moving to southern Bc, I have seen a few this winter. Certainly less common in AB however.

One actually held up in town. A few houses from the elementary school. It got into a friends rabbit cage and ate the kids pets.

Not so scary as a cougar around. But certainly something to be aware of.

There's been 2 lurking around the job site on Lake Bonavista. Seen it 3 days in a row now, also watched it take out a mouse in front of me!

Nice pics. There was a post on FB of a bobcat in a backyard down in Sundance. Might be the same cat, roaming around back and forth through Fish Creek. Hope it thins out the bunnies.

Ya, I let F&W know about these bobcats. They weren't too concerned with them.

That's a beautiful animal. No way I could shoot one, if it wasn't being a pest. Feel the same about cougars.

Trophy bobcat there for sure, it be nice if there were a season on them. I could shoot one, every year I could shoot one. Their range is much more expansive than advertised. Sadly their habitat is being clear cut without regard for the little cats.
