Barrel De-Resonator

Anyone here ever try one? Or hear any feedback about them? I know they work on bows.

my cousin has one on his .270, and from what i see, it does work, but good god, does it make a rifle look ugly

Tinkering around with diffrent loads will get you the same result.
So will Browning's B.O.S.S
I prefer to reload my ammo so I can match the load to the barrel harmonics.
Not the barrel harmonics to the load.
Another attempt at instafying things where it's not needed.

This subject has been beat to death since the dawn of the centerfire cartridge!
hamronics can be changed, yes.
loads can be changed, yes.
As Dick points out, the Boss system changes harmonics,as does the limbsaver.
So did the electric tuners and pressure tuners of the 30's, 40's, and 50's!
The easiest way is to handload your ammo.
