Congrats on your opening. Hope you have success in the future. I have heard good things about the Calgary store.

You shouldn't "get loaded" so early in the day man!

I stopped by there this week and they actually let me in! Looks awesome they have a lot to be proud of, archers in Edmonton have some excellent options now.

Does anyone know the distance of their shooting lanes?

Anyone know how many lanes they will have? One of the reasons I dislike shooting at indoor lanes is the narrow lanes. Kind of hard to cant a longbow between two vertical shooters.

It's a large layout...likey 30+ shooters comfortably...20 yard lanes.

Sure would be nice to have a location with up to 40 yard lanes in Edmonton. One the other hand Jim-Bows is a quality store and I have had nothing but excellent experiances buying equipment through them in Calgary.

Looking forward to visiting their new location in Edmonton and buying some 1 1/8" Razortricks, if they carry them

The economics of a 40yard range just doesn't work out....I can totally understand why they don't do it. I have talked to folks with longer ranges and they say they have to change the 20yard target face exponentially more than any other distance and the cost is prohibitive for that amount of "dead" floor space.

I would like a longer indoor distance too....I just pick the nicer winter days and shoot my bow outside at the archery butts at the SPFGA rifle range....out to 55 yards.

Sherwood Park Rifle Range only goes to 55....but I goof around past 100 and have won novelty shoots past that distance.

I shoot for fun long distance but don't apply it to a hunting setting.

Stopped in today just after opening. Received great service from Carson, and it's a great space. I look forward to shooting there, and am considering joining in on league shooting. I'm pretty happy to have such a quality shop relatively close to where I live!

Carson is a great guy I have known quite a while and I met Dave and he is a long time friend of Jim's so no doubt he is top notch too!

Finally got around to replacing the old Havoctec. The boys at Jim-bows Edmonton took care of me and it's nice knowing they stand beind what they sell and it's not a one time deal. Now to get the new Hoyt dialed in and ready for spring bear.

Default Impressed

Stopped by jimbows today in Edmonton and was very impressed by the service and professionalism . It's nice to finally see some PRO'S in a pro shop. I picked up a new Bowtech prodigy and with a few pointers from Dave I've never shot better. Highly recommend checking this place out

Stopped in today and tried some target releases. I'm not sure if I should get the Stan thumb release for target or the pull thru design. I think I see more people shooting the thumb release but I think I liked the pull thru better
