Default Fun with the bulls

Had fun in the Crowsnest last week. Streamers were the ticket for the big boys. Hooked 4 of these big guys using a rainbow looking pattern.

Awesome! I've always meant to stop and throw the pontoon in there. What do you use to float it?

Driving back from Cranbrook I popped into the fly shop then had a look at the boulder run downstream of the bridge...water was pretty clear and along with the dozen or so Rainbows there were 5 maybe 6 Bulls, of which 2 were slobs!! Alberta record is gonna come out of that res in a fall run!!!

It needs a hair combing for the photo but once you put in the water it's a thing of beauty.

sweet fly! I do one close to the same, minus the weight.

marabou tail - shralpen body - red crystal chenille hotspot - grizzly rubber legs - chinchilla zonker wing - sculpin wool head.

looks very similar to yours. just need to test it out on some bullies

with a stinger hook this fly gets twisted into a mangled mess after one fish. natural materials look great in the water though.
