I haven't even seen a goose in a couple of weeks. I miss goose hunting already.

Dang I wish I lived in Southern Alberta. Winter came in like a rushing wind at the end of October and decided to stay. I am in goose hunting withdrawal. Best I can do is fondle my new Super Black Eagle

Really good morning, winds just right but in a field with zero cover, we flagged but they seemed to flare on it ,,,,,not once did we use a goose call. Did birds flare from us ,,,,,YES,,,,,,Did birds fly around us ,,,,,YES,,,,,did birds hit the pocket....Hell YA.

I do have to share with you...
my newly deaf dog...... is still useful in the goose patch. She had a great day... including one 1-2K retrieve of a cripple!

Just talking about finding a hunt. I wasn't able to get my 16 year old son out this fall for lots of reasons. But I would love him to get out on a goose hunt be fore christmas.
between his school, hockey and work and my work its been one busy fall. I told his Mom I would yank him out of school for a day if I had to before Christmas. She is all good with it.
Let me know guys if you have room for 2 guys that can't shoot, but show up on time with Coffee from Tims.
It looks like you guys had some fun!

Wow you are a lucky dog! All birds buggered off from Edmonton area at least 2-3 weeks ago when we got hit with -15 weather.
