The guy can't tell the difference between a pot bellied pig and a wild boar. Give me a break. He should lose his hunting license for a long time. If this happened on my place the fine would be about $5000.00 cause thats what it would cost him for new teeth.
Dude should give them new pigs and enough cash for 5 years of feed for the critters. Accompany them with a note "Don't hate us, it's not our fault the man who gave us to you is stupid".

Nothing happens as this same thing happened to my family 8 years ago as a hunter shot our pet pot belly pig off the road from his truck while it was standing amongst our milk cows 200 yards from our house. Then proceeded to tell my wife she should thank him for shooting a wild pig. Which he only wounded and never even checked on. That my wife had to finish off herself.
Later in court if my wife hadn't been present to tell the judge the situation the CRIMINAL would have gotten off without anything. He even told the court that his family lives on wild meat yet he had no intentions to retrieve the down pig for his own consumption.
